Iron Constellation
Iron Constellation is an incremental, space-themed game where you battle enemies across different zones, gather resources, and invest them into fleet upgrades. Fight powerful bosses, unlock new ship parts, and build your own custom ships and fleet to suit your strategy.
Disclaimer: This is a very early prototype. I'm sharing it now to gather feedback and see if the project has potential — and whether it's worth continuing development.

Enable itch's full screen, kind of a really slow process and either needs better targeting or better upgrades to help with that
Thank you for trying and sharing feedback.
When you saying slow - you mean it takes a while to farm resources? Or fighting process is too slow overall?
Kind of both, the entire game just gives the vibe of 'sluggish', turning is slow, moving to your chosen area is slow, bullets are slow (particularly made the small enemies a pain in the arse) - but also at the same time, yes farming resources are slow, collection bots don't feel they do so much, there is a lot of waiting around and almost idle time trying to farm up - it is all a slow process from beginning to end, and taking 6 or 7 minutes to fly around in a circle and get about 3 upgrades worth of material hammers that home even more
Even the upgrades you do get seemingly have minimal effect (I know it's a small demo but this still applies) - tiny amounts of engine power or bullet speed or even range - expecting maybe a 50% range boost and getting less than a 6th, meaning even more materials for a not so great reward
I do like the unique patterns you have to fly in to try and defeat some of the enemies, but it's just a symptom of a system that isn't fulfilling it's purpose
Damage was about the only thing that felt like it was in a good place right now (with 5 cannon ships- can certainly imagine it too would be painful with an accelerator or healer.. again extending the resource issue from killing slower)
Anyway, i'll stop rambling, it was an okay experience, it does certainly need work, but I wish you well with continued development and hope you're able to refine the product in all the ways you want to
There seems to be no way to save fleets? Am I missing something?
Sorry, it was a bug. I just pushed a hotfix for this, so you can refresh your page. Thanks for letting me know about the issue!
Love the idea of the game, I am making a game a bit like this but I would recommend putting some music into the game. Other than that I am really excited to see the trajectory the game takes!
Thanks for the kind words, I am happy to hear you liked it.
I do plan to add music in the future, but right now my main focus is on refining the graphics and gameplay. It’s only been about a month since I started learning WebGL, so there’s still a lot of work ahead!
